Hei hei folks!
As a matter of fact it’s the weekend. By the way, do you know where the word comes from? It was first used in the 1630s, from week + end as you may have guessed it. Originally a northern word (referring to the period from Saturday noon to Monday morning) it became general after 1878 and first recorded as an adj., (“only on weekends”) in 1935.
Ok, now we’re done with the etymology part.
Because weekends have been overrated lately here’s another thing to be happy about: Scarlett will open for Wilco on the following dates of their European tour.
(PS: Wilco did not chose Scarlett as their support, Chuck Norris did. Thumbs up).
