Berlin-based visual artist Guillaume Guérin visited us this weekend and for once we had time to take time and we improvised series of pictures here and there. The coincidence was that Aurore Brun was also in an ‘improvisation mood’ and called to say she had a surprise for Scarlett. She just had designed her a bolero. Right on time for the show in the garden the same night.

Here are some captured moments by Guillaume in Aurore’s workshop.

It’s the 8th Oh My Garden show tomorrow. There will be sun, there will be boys, there will be girls, there will be alcohol. And since summer time seems to have arrived, be an early bird to enjoy the garden (not sure dungarees are allowed though).

31 Rue Dillens, 1050 Brussels. Doors open at 6:00 pm and close when it’s full. Gig starts at 7:00.

The postman is a strange guy. Sometimes you just forget he even exists or wish he hadn’t come with that bill you had forgotten about or on the contrary you wait for him like a kid who casts longing glances at a still boiling hot just-out-from-the-oven cookie and when he finally arrives you feel like you bring home the bacon or something.

This morning though he made us a surprise by delivering a parcel from the other side of the ocean. Nels Cline (Wilco) sent over two albums of his own project: ‘Coward’ and ‘Dirty Baby’. If you haven’t heard of them yet, well, the time is now. We highly recommend this song to start with!
